What we do
Mining Approach:
– Open Pit Operations: Utilizing a contractor-based approach, where contractors supply and operate equipment while the client provides technical guidance and supervision. This includes mine design, planning, surveying, and geological input.
– Underground Operations: All underground activities are owner-operated by our employees.
Processing:
The processing method is straightforward and conventional, involving proven crushing and milling techniques, followed by carbon-in-leach gold extraction, ensuring robust gold recoveries. Brentuo features two tailings storage facilities (DF):
– DF 1: Non-operational.
- – DF 2: Currently in use, designed and engineered to meet world-class industry standards and aligned with the Brentuo Mine production plan.

Social responsibility
Power Supply:
Brentuo sources its power from three main avenues:
– Heavy Fuel Oil Power Station (HFO)
– National grid electricity supply
– Solar energy
Water Supply:
Water requirements are met through various sources:
– Multiple permitted boreholes
– Harvested rainwater
– Recycling of DF and underground water
Operational Track Record:
Brentuo Mining has a solid history of converting inferred resources to reserves, extending mine life accordingly. Exploration activities are ongoing in various areas to further extend the life of the operation.
Expansion Potential:
– The crushing circuit is designed for future expansion.
– Brentuo is situated within a greenstone belt, making it well-suited for further exploration and growth.
– An HDPE-lined DF has been designed with the best practice methodology for the industry.
– Most power requirements are sourced from the national grid, with two emergency standby power generation units..
